Duties

Calumet Public School District 132 is seeking a collaborative and student-centered Dean of Students to assist the Principal in maintaining a safe, positive, and academically focused learning environment. The Dean of Students provides leadership in student discipline, attendance, behavior intervention, school climate, and restorative practices while working closely with students, families, and staff to promote student success.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) required.
• Illinois Principal Endorsement or General Administrative Endorsement preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years of successful educational experience, preferably at the middle school level.
• Knowledge of Illinois School Code, student discipline procedures, restorative practices, PBIS, and MTSS.
• Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
