Duties
The main duties of the band and choir teacher are as follows: 1) Direct the band and choir programs, 2) Prepare the band and choir for participation in various programs, parades, assemblies, sporting events, concerts, etc., 3) Coordinate the middle school program with the high school, 4) Conduct individual or small group lessons throughout the school day, 5) Oversee the instrument lease/purchase program
Qualifications
The successful candidate must possess a valid PEL and must be properly certified to teach music in Illinois.
Salary/Benefits
The salary and benefit package will be determined by the district's Collective Bargaining Agreement.
