Director of Human Resources-School Year 2026-2027
Duties
- Confidentiality
- Maintains knowledge of laws, regulations, and best practices in employment law
- Manage recruitment and termination of employees
- Ensures compliance with employment, benefits, insurance, safety, and other laws, regulations, and requirements.
- Participates in professional development and networking conferences and events
- Drafts and implements the budget for the human resource department
- Provides guidance and resources to all district administrators
- Maintains and updates the employee evaluation technology system
- Monitors the implementation of union contracts
- Responsible for listening to employee concerns, conducting investigations, and recommending appropriate consequences if necessary.
- Responsible for the updating and maintaining job descriptions
- Maintaining employee records
- Development and updating of Human Resource manual
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Educational Leadership or Human Resources
- Minimum of 5 years experience
- Demonstrate working knowledge of current technology and related software applications
- Strong oral and written communications skills
- Self-starter/Self motivated
- Works well independently and on a team
- Must meet deadlines
- Good customer service
- Must foster and maintain positive and effective working relationships
- Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- SHRM-CP or pHCLE
Salary/Benefits
- $90,000-$125,000
- 15 Sick Days
- 3 Personal Days
- 20 Vacation Days
