Family & Consumer Science Teacher 1.0 FTE Share: Print: Duties Facilitate student learning through lesson planning and quality instruction. Recommend to the Principal or designee supplies and materials needed for the class. Manage student behavior by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures. Assess student work and provide meaningful feedback to students and parents/guardians that will be conducive to learning. Maintain and update accurate records as required by the State, District, and Building Administration. Attend required meetings and events. Stay current with developments in curriculum, instruction, and assessment. Coach or sponsor an extracurricular activity-preferred but not required. (Compensation – RBEA Collective Bargaining Agreement) Exhibit excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills. Incorporate the Six Pillars of Character Counts: Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring and Citizenship. Perform other duties as assigned.
