Duties

• Plan and deliver engaging science instruction for grades 9–12 aligned to Illinois Learning Standards.
• Teach courses such as Earth Science,Biology, and Chemistry, and other assigned science classes.
• Assess student learning, monitor progress, and provide timely feedback.
• Maintain a safe, organized laboratory environment and follow all safety procedures.
• Build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff to support student success.
• Participate in school improvement efforts, professional development, and extracurricular activities as assigned.

Qualifications

• Illinois Professional Educator License with appropriate science endorsement
• Bachelor's degree in Science or related field
• Strong organizational, communication, and classroom management skills

Salary/Benefits

Salary Range $41,715 - $71,685.  Board paid TRS, 14 sick days, 3 personal days, health, dental, and vision insurance.
