Duties
Key Operational & Financial Responsibilities
- Fiscal Oversight: With the Executive Director, manage and monitor special education budgets, grant allocations (IDEA Part B), and expenditures. Ensure fiscal responsibility while maximizing resources for student support and classroom technology.
- Data & Compliance Systems: Oversee the accuracy and integrity of Illinois-specific reporting, including I-STAR, December 1 Child Count, and Child Find.
- Revenue Optimization: Lead the Medicaid Billing process, ensuring related service providers meet documentation standards to maximize district reimbursement.
- Programmatic Logistics: Coordinate the operational framework for Extended School Year (ESY), including transportation logistics, staffing matrices, and facility scheduling.
- Staffing & Personnel: Assist in the strategic recruitment and allocation of licensed staff and paraprofessionals to meet student acuity needs across member districts
