Duties

Duties/Qualifications:

• Engineering and design of all Electronic systems for various projects and operational needs.
• Install new / rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and operational requirements.
• Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures. Manage and track hardware and software inventory.
• Maintain all district systems including networking, server administration, WAN and LAN connections, end user workstations and peripherals, and communication systems.
• Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.
• Perform regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions.
• Create, change, and delete user accounts across multiple systems including Active Directory, Google Apps, and Skyward.
• Provide all levels of user technical support.
• Perform ongoing hardware upgrades and resource optimization as required.
• Skyward Student management system: Reporting, Data mining and Skybuild exports for rostering and other purposes, Food Service Module knowledge, Grading administration and setup. 

Qualifications

Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems Management, Educational Technology, or a closely related field.
