Reasons to be an Oregon Hawk
The Oregon music program is the most successful program in our school district, winning numerous awards through IHSA, ILMEA, and Those Who Excel. The band program finished 1st place in the state for the Class B IHSA Sweepstakes competition in 2025.
Our staff at Oregon Elementary School and Oregon Jr/Sr High School is a very tight-knit group. The music teachers, specifically, all work together as a unit for many projects. The high school band director co-teaches with the 5-8 band director for many lessons and rehearsals during the year.
