Duties
The special education administrator will be responsible for special education services and programs for EC-12 grade.
Qualifications
Candidate must possess a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and/or Special Education, and an Illinois General Administrative license and/or Director or Special Education.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Candidate holds a valid LBS1 license and/or a license in a related service.
2. FIve years of successful teaching and/or related experience in special education.
3. Prior supervisory experience in an educational setting or special education case manager is preferred.
4. Experience with IEPs (Assessment, Goals, Writing of the IEP, etc.)
Salary/Benefits
240 day contract. Salary and benefits are regionally competitive and will be negotiated with final candidate.
