Duties

• Design and teach technology-rich lessons aligned to NGSS, Illinois Mathematics Standards, and Computer Science Standards.
• Facilitate project-based learning that develops creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking.
• Guide students in applying the engineering design process and computational thinking.
• Utilize coding, robotics, and digital design platforms to solve authentic challenges.
• Support equitable access and engagement in STEM learning for all students.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, STEM Education, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with appropriate endorsement.
• Experience with coding, robotics (VEX, LEGO, Arduino), or CAD/digital design tools preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to integrate technology and inquiry-based learning in instruction.

Salary/Benefits

Salary range $47,208 to $56,526
