Duties

• Subject: Mathematics (Grades 6, 7, & 8)

• Position Type: Interim (Now-May 2026)

• Location: Streator, IL 61364

Responsibilities Include:

• Planning and delivering engaging math lessons aligned with curriculum standards.

• Supporting students in developing problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and confidence in math.

• Creating a classroom environment rooted in respect, responsibility, and Catholic values.

• Collaborating with fellow teachers and staff to support the mission of the school.

• Communicating effectively with parents regarding student progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field 

• State teaching certification (or eligibility for certification).

• Experience teaching middle school math is strongly preferred.

• Commitment to Catholic education and the formation of the whole child—spiritually, academically, and socially.

• Strong classroom management skills are required.

Salary/Benefits

Salary range: $15,000 – $20,000, commensurate with education and experience.
