FMLA Coverage for Komarek School Speech and Language Pathologist 
Full time Maternity Leave Position, Kindergarten - 8th grades
Anticipated Start Date: 12/01/2025
End Date: 05/29/2026

JOB SUMMARY:  The Speech-Language Pathologist will provide students with both consult, integrated, and direct services to support the speech goals as outlined in each student’s IEP.  They will also conduct both screening and assessments as part of the IEP/evaluation process.  Additional duties may be assigned in accordance with provisions of the Board’s policies and requirements.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Current Illinois Teaching (PEL) Professional Educator Licensure endorsed with Speech Language Pathologist
• Experience working as a school-based Speech Language Pathologist (highly preferred)
• Ability to write and implement Individual Educational Plans (IEP's), and faciliate Speech IEP meetings
• Excellent communication skills with students, teachers, parents and student resource team
