Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in compliance with safety regulations.
- Clean and restock restrooms, ensuring they are well-maintained and sanitary.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as needed, such as window washing and floor maintenance.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow established procedures for cleaning and disinfecting to ensure a safe environment.
- Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies need replenishing.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations while performing custodial duties.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in custodial or janitorial work is a plus but not required.
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety protocols.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Must pass a background check and comply with all organizational policies.
Salary/Benefits
Starting wage is $16.00 per hour.
