Duties
We are seeking a High School Principal to lead our school community in its pursuit of educational excellence for the 2025-26 school year. The ideal candidate will be a dedicated and innovative leader with a strong educational background and a passion for creating a positive and inspiring learning environment. We are looking for a student-centered candidate.
Illini Bluffs High School is a 9-12 building serving approximately 250 students and 30 staff members. The high school is part of a unit district with an elementary school (prek-5) and a middle school (6-8). The candidate would be part of an administrative team consisting of an elementary principal, middle school principal, superintendent, and associate superintendent.

Qualifications
Illinois Administrative Licensure
Completion of State-approved prequalification modules to serve as a Teacher Evaluator prior to the start date
Thorough understanding of Illinois state education standards and assessment practices
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to drive continuous improvement in student achievement
Strong commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive educational environment
Familiarity with Illinois education laws, policies, and regulations
Salary/Benefits
A regionally competitive salary with excellent employment benefits based upon the qualifications and employment history of the candidate will be offered. This is a 12-mo. position reporting to the Superintendent.
