Duties

• Fosters a creative, flexible and enthusiastic environment that serves and inspires
  student engagement and learning.
• Utilizes flexibility, creativity, and initiative in curriculum creation and delivery.
• Maintains positive and professional relationships with administration, Board of
  Education, faculty/staff and parents.
• Demonstrate exceptional content knowledge and pedagogical skill in art, with the
  ability to adapt instruction to suit a diverse range of student backgrounds and
  interests.
• Employ effective communication and collaboration skills when interacting with
  students, faculty, and parents, to ensure a cohesive educational experience for
  students.
• Facilitate a classroom environment that encourages student collaboration and
  discourse, enhancing the learning experience for all.
• Participate in team-based approaches to student remediation and the continuous
  enhancement of instructional practices.
• Partner with Special Education and Student Services to meet the needs of
  identified students.
• Use technology proficiently and ethically for planning, collaboration, instruction,
  and assessment.

Qualifications

Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with an Art endorsement.

Salary/Benefits
