Duties
PreK-3-Year-Old Teacher:
The person selected for this position will be responsible for aiding in the supervision and instruction of PreK-3-year-old students in the program. This person must have a warm and friendly personality, be sensitive to the feelings and needs of others, be able to relate well to children and co-workers, and be willing to fulfill responsibilities in accordance with the school’s educational philosophy.
The aide will help facilitate the daily activities of the students, and stay with students during some of their specials classes. This person will need to be able to move up and down, sit on the floor, etc. to help assist with PreK-3 students. This position will also assist with the procedures and routine of lunch and rest time.
This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday from 7:30am-3:15pm.
RESPONSIBILITIES shall include, but not be limited to, the following:
- Assist in setting up the learning space, and preparing needed materials and supplies.
- Maintaining a professional attitude and loyalty to the school.
- Treating all children with dignity and respect.
- Maintaining confidentiality about children, their families, and other employees outside of the school.
- Any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Applicants must have at least a high school diploma or equivalent.
