Duties
We are seeking a reliable and responsible individual to join our team as a Part-Time Yellow School Bus Driver for high school students. As a bus driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school in a timely manner. The bus driver's primary duty is to ensure the safety and well-being of all passengers during transit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a 72-passenger yellow school bus following established routes and schedules.
- Ensure the safety of all passengers by adhering to traffic laws and maintaining a safe driving environment.
- Maintain order and discipline among students while on the bus.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the bus is in good working condition.
- Communicate effectively with school staff, parents, and students regarding transportation-related issues.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations pertaining to school bus transportation.
- Attend training sessions to enhance driving skills and knowledge of safety procedures.
Additional Notes
- Hours: 5:30 AM to 7:30 AM, Monday through Friday.
- Additional hours may be available for sports, extracurricular activities, and/or field trips.
