Duties

  • Employ a variety of instructional techniques and instructional media, consistent with the capabilities of the individuals or student groups involved
  • Facilitate activities and lessons that drive students toward academic achievement
  • Assess the accomplishments and academic progress of students on a regular basis, provide progress reports as required, effectively use formal and informal assessments to plan lessons that differentiate instruction for individual needs
  • Manage student behavior and support social-emotional learning within the classroom setting
  • Adhere to the policies and procedures as established by the Board of Education and Administration.

Qualifications

Candidates must hold the appropriate ROE#17 Sub license and demonstrate the following characteristics:  excellent leadership and communication skill, knowledge of a variety of teaching methods and strategies, and exceptional technology skills.

Salary/Benefits

$218.84 per day
