Duties
The teacher is responsible for: planning instructional lessons; creating a classroom environment that is conducive to learning; and employing effective instructional techniques.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts Degree. Appropriate State of Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL). Valid Illinois Physical Education endorsement. Teaching experience in student classroom setting. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to communicate with the students, parents and district personnel. Knowledgeable in educational improvement initiatives, standards and assessment practices. Possess a professional demeanor.
Salary/Benefits
Placement on salary schedule per teacher contract. (full TRS paid)
