Duties
Duties include assessing, diagnosing, designing interventions for and treating learning-related speech needs.
Must collaborate well with classroom teachers, and other school staff members.
Conduct screenings on a regular basis for identification of students in need of speech/language services, provide thorough assessments with appropriate diagnosis, assist in proper referrals of individuals to agencies and specialists in the community, as well as provide appropriate individualized programs of therapy
Develop a balanced speech and communication program, while assisting and guiding teachers in observing, describing, and referring to individuals in need.
Qualifications
-Proper Certification
-Masters Degree in Speech and Language Pathology
