The final course assignment is flexible and will be decided in collaboration with the final candidate and the current agriculture teacher.
Qualifications
Illinois PEL with Endorsement in Agriculture Education. Ability to teach 9-12 is required, but 6-12 is preferred.
Salary/Benefits
The salary will be determined by the current collective bargaining agreement which can be found on the district's website. The candidate will also receive additional compensation through the three circles grant.

ROWVA High School, located in Section 4 in Oneida, IL, is seeking an Agriculture Education Teacher and FFA Advisor beginning Fall 2025 to continue a two teacher agriculture program, replacing Mr. Rod Main who is retiring in June 2025.
The successful candidate will join Mrs. Elise Main in the ROWVA Agriculture Department. Mrs. Main is committed to mentoring the successful candidate and collaborating with him or her to determine what classes will make up each instructor’s course load.

The ROWVA FFA Chapter has a long standing tradition of promoting the agriculture industry through agriculture education. The ROWVA FFA Chapter has been very successful over the years in Section, District and State level proficiencies, Career Development Events, Leadership Development Events, and National Chapter Awards. ROWVA FFA is one of the top chapters in the state with a high level of student participation, administration support, and alumni/community involvement. Successful candidate will receive a stipend, extended contract, and three circles grant.
