Duties
Morris Community High School District 101 is seeking to add a full-time or part-time Bilingual / ELL Teacher. This will be a new position in addition to what we currently have, so we have the flexibility to hire someone starting in January 2025, or for the 2025-2026 school year.
Qualifications
Illinois Professional Educator License with Bilingual Endorsement (preferred) and/or Educator License with Stipulations (Bilingual) or ESL Endorsement. Fluency in English and Spanish, an understanding of cultural and linguistic diversity, and familiarity with Bilingual and ESL curricula. Ability to comprehend high school level material across multiple subject areas.
Salary/Benefits
The collective bargaining agreement for teachers is posted here. The Board pays the TRS contribution and $14,100 toward health insurance.
