Duties
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
The Data and Assessment Coordinator (DAC) is responsible for providing Educational Services personnel with accurate and timely formative data needed to provide targeted support to school teams throughout the school year. As part of her/his duties, the DAC will assist district and school-based leaders in interpreting assessment results to better inform next steps. The Data and Assessment Coordinator is responsible for analyzing data used in student, teacher and program evaluation for district and school initiatives.
? Oversees and maintains the data tracking system used to monitor school academic performance to ensure appropriate progress monitoring of key performance indicators (KPI) used to drive improvement efforts.
? Supports various stakeholders to analyze, interpret, and use data to support student and adult learning.
? Prepares data reports for various audiences (e.g., community, school board, principals, district leaders).
? Provides relevant and necessary professional development learning sessions to assist appropriate site-based personnel, district leadership and members of the school’s leadership team.
? Provide ongoing technical support and training to faculty on use of educational software including PowerSchool and Naviance
? Collaborate with district office, external, and campus stakeholders to build and maintain reports and tools for access to and analysis of data

? Graduation Requirements Tracking
? Post-Secondary Success Tracking
? Build a culture of continuous improvement through regular and consistent review of data with district and school leadership teams
? Act as a sort of “internal consultant” to Educational Services leadership providing both information and strategy to support decision making
