Qualifications
Position: Anticipated District Nurse

Location: Arthur CUSD 305
Duties:
- Provide school health and nursing to students; conducts health histories and advises special education teams and teachers on student's health needs; oversees health records; assists in the development of accommodations for students with health issues; liaison to public health department and other medical professionals.
Qualifications:
- Certified School Nurse with ISBE PEL, LPN or Registered Nurse with current Illinois license in good standing, ISBE designation for IEP privileges, knowledge and background of student health, strong collaboration skills, knowledge of legalities in general and special education, attend and participate in IEP meetings, crisis/emergency management skills, current CPR and AED Certification, technology literate.
Salary/Benefits
TBD based on experience and qualifications. All other benefits include health insurance based on the local collective bargaining agreement (holder of such an endorsement is entitled to all of the rights and privileges granted holders of any other Professional Educator License, including teacher benefits, compensation, and working conditions).
