Duties
The Director of Technology will plan, implement and support student learning, the District’s strategic goals, the integration of various forms of technology into district curriculum frameworks, by providing leadership, expertise, support, and instruction to teachers, administrators, and staff. This is a 12 month, full time position.
Qualifications
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, QUALIFICATIONS PROFILE:
- Master's degree or equivalent; four to ten years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience, including a minimum of three years in a supervisory capacity over support personnel.
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator’s License (PEL) with General Administrative and/or Principal Endorsement.
- Broad knowledge and experience in the administrative, technical, instructional, and project skills necessary to implement departmental goals, including platforms and operating systems; network design, installation and maintenance; and web design and maintenance.
- Interpersonal skills for effective interaction with a variety of stakeholders, excellent organization and time management, effective verbal and written language skills, and the ability to use sound judgment in decision-making.
- Knowledge of and ability to use database software; and internet, inventory, project management, spreadsheet, and word processing software.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
Salary/Benefits
Salary Range: $131,085 - $140794 for the 24-25 school year. 25-26 salaries will be higher, but are unknown at this time.
