Duties

Mendota District #289 is seeking a qualified Elementary Intervention Teacher to provide targeted academic support to students in grades K–1. The interventionist will deliver small-group and individualized instruction aligned with the Illinois Learning Standards and support the district’s Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required

• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)

• Knowledge of MTSS and progress monitoring practices preferred

• Elementary teaching or intervention experience preferred

Salary/Benefits

Salary and Benefits conform to the current teachers contract and salary schedule with reference to experience and education.
