Duties
•Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for identifying, interviewing, preparing contracts, supervising and evaluating all personnel assigned to extra pay positions.
- Shares with the Principal and the other Assistant Principals, the supervision and evaluation of the certificated staff.
- Responsible for the development and management of the student activities and athletic budget.
- Responsible to account for user fees and gate receipts.
- Responsible for keeping and maintaining the building calendar for student activities and athletics.
- Responsible for coordinating and scheduling all fundraising for student activities and athletics.
- Responsible establishing a council of head coaches to meet monthly to facilitate communication within the department.
- Responsible for establishing a supervision schedule for contests and games and to make arrangements for appropriate security.
- Responsible for scheduling all I.H.S.A activities.
- Represents Hampshire High School at Fox Valley Conference and I.H.S.A.
- Responsible for coordinating support groups associated with student activities and athletic programs.
- Responsible for disseminating public information and publicity for student activities, sponsors, teams and coaches.
- Plans and organizes with appropriate school personnel weekly eligibility checks in accordance with I.H.S.A. and district policies, rules and regulations.
- Administers appropriate action for violation of training rules by student athletes and informs appropriate school personnel.
- Shares with the Building Manager the responsibility for the appearance of the building and grounds as it relates to athletics.
- Serves as liaison to feeder and middle school athletic programs.
- Serves as liaison to local township park districts and local area youth organizations.
- Responsible for staying professionally current in the field of supervision and administration.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by the Principal, including activity supervision.
Salary/Benefits
Salary and benefits:
261 days, including paid legal holidays
25 vacation days annually
12 sick days

Salary Range: $108,223 - $117,144
