Duties
The Director is responsible for all fundraising development and enrollment marketing for the school. The successful candidate will work to develop new and retain existing relationships with donors and alumni, to increase Routt's visibility, and increase enrollment and financial resources. The director will also collaborate with others to maintain the donor/enrollment database, publish newsletters, maintain the school website and social media content, and coordinate media relations.
Qualifications
Preferred candidates should have a Bachelor's Degree in a related field as well as 3-5 years of development or fundraising experience. This experience should include the ability or organize special events and cultivate major gifts. Grant writing experience is a plus. Additionally, the position requires excellent written and oral communication skills, familiarity with Microsoft Office, donor database software, and desktop publishing, a knowledge of estate gift procedures, and experience with collaborating with volunteers. This position reports directly to the Routt principal.
