Duties

• Teach various trades to high school students, specifically construction & automotive.  Other agriculture classes could be involved.
• Possibility of class or club sponsorships.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff.
• Contribute to and support curriculum development and school improvement initiatives.
• Cooperate with teachers of all departments to support a collaborative school culture.

Qualifications

• Must have Illinois Licensure for degree or ability to obtain CTE licensure
• Classes taught will be based on teacher strengths
• Seeking an individual who can provide instruction in various workforce trade skills, such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, construction, residential work, as well as small engines and auto mechanics  

Salary/Benefits

Per the negotiated contract of district #225.  The benefit package includes large stipend that pays the majority of an individual's insurance plan, dental, and vision options.  The board of education pays all TRS on top of the base salaries listed in the CBA.  See www.fchsmules.com for the full CBA and benefits package information.
