Medical Assistant Instructor APPLY ONLINE

Duties:

Supervise and instruct high school students in combined medical and clerical skills
Prepare students to assist health care professionals in exam preparation, vital sign assessment, and routine lab procedures
Train students in medical transcription, financial accounting, patient and insurance company billing, and record keeping

Qualifications:

Certified Medical Assistant or LPN with 8,000 hours of relevant work experience OR 60 college hours and 2,000 hours of relevant work experience
Must have or obtain an Illinois teaching license for secondary education. The administration will assist you with obtaining the license. The license will be granted based on a combination of education and relevant work experience. An educational degree is NOT required.

The salary range for this position is $44,681 - $54,000 based on education and relevant work experience.

Work schedule closely follows area school calendars - work year is mid-August to late May
