Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS OF THE AUTISM PROGRAM SUPERVISOR:
- Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate area of education specializing in teaching children with one or more of the following disabilities: behavior disorders, emotional problems, learning disabilities, autism, speech and language deficits and/or developmental delays. Master's Degree preferred.
- Five years of teaching experience required. Three years supervisory experience required.
- LBS-1 Licensure as a special education teacher with the State of Illinois in one or more of the above-mentioned disabilities required. Work experience with Autism and/or developmentally disabled populations required. Experience with Applied Behavioral Analysis preferred.
Salary/Benefits
PAY: $58,000 - $72,500/year salary, exempt with BA degree, up to $76,250 for those with a relevant MA degree
