Duties
Establish clear objectives for all lessons and activities
Maintain accurate student records/progress monitor/write student IEPs
Observe and evaluate students’ academic performance, behavior, social/emotional development
Enforce rules for behavior and procedures for maintaining order
Adopt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet the students’ varying needs
Strong communication skills

Qualifications
Professional Educators Licensure with an endorsement in special education
Salary/Benefits
Salary information is included in the Cerro Gordo CUSD #100 Collective Bargaining Agreement and can be found at www.cgbroncos.org. Salary is dependent on years of experience and education. Full time certified staff qualify for district paid health insurance, life insurance, and TRS. Starting salary with 0 years of experience and a bachelor's degree for 2024-2025 school year is $42,849.
