Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED Education
  • Minimum 1-2 years of library media technology experience, to provide assistance to students and adults or equivalent working experience
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office and in School District applications
  • Experience or possess working knowledge in maintaining electronic student files in a School District setting
  • Maintain an inventory of all library materials:  audio, electronics, visual and circulations
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to unpack and pack boxes of books, materials and equipment
  • Able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs to maintain materials on shelves
  • Able to rearrange the library by moving materials, equipment, seating areas and tables
  • Able to monitor students' activities electronically and visually
