Duties

• Work with struggling readers by supporting, supplementing and extending classroom instruction inside or outside of the regular classroom
• Support classroom instruction by assisting teachers as they implement best practices in reading and writing in their classrooms
• Understand the theory and evidence-based foundations of reading and writing
• Use instructional approaches, materials, and an integrated, comprehensive, balanced curriculum to support student learning in reading and writing 

Qualifications

Proper PEL or able to obtain proper certification.

Salary/Benefits

Per collective bargaining agreement.
