Duties

Position Summary: The Director of Human Resources Development is primarily responsible for providing District-level leadership,
guidance, and support specifically focused on high-quality employee recruitment and selection, staff onboarding,
orientation and retention, training and professional development, performance evaluation and employee discipline
processes.


Key Responsibilities:
1. Assists with oversight of the District’s employee coaching and progressive discipline process.
2. Recruits and hires the District’s substitute pool, oversees their assignment to schools, and monitors their performance as needed.
3. Oversees the processing of employee injury and Worker’s Compensation matters.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Illinois Professional Educator License with General Administrative Endorsement
  • Prior successful experience in both teaching and building level administration
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Experience managing multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously
  • Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education may find appropriate and acceptable

Salary/Benefits

  • The entry level base salary for this position is $111,617, plus highly competitive benefits, including 100% Board-paid TRS contributions and 100% Board-paid employee-only health, dental, and term life insurance.  There is a minimal employee cost for vision insurance.  Additional compensation above the base is offered to candidates based on their number of years of successful administrative experience.
