Duties
Knowledge of principles and techniques of speech-language therapy,methods and
procedures for assessment and treatment of communication disorders (speech sound
production and use, receptive and expressive language, fluency, voice, oral motor, etc).
State and federal laws and regulations regarding special education records, due process,
service provision and speech language pathology.
Ability to write & implement Individual Education Plans (IEP’s)
Excellent communication and time management skills.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students,
families, team members, and others.
Will be responsible for delivering services as outlined in IEPs and Intervention Plans.
Qualifications
A valid/registered Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech Language
Pathologist endorsement.
Recent experience as a Speech Language Pathologist preferable at elementary (with the
exception of new graduates)

Compensation is based on negotiated salary schedule.
