Duties
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Plan, organize, and provide instruction in English and in native language of students in the Core Curriculum Content Standards, Illinois Learning Standards, and Spanish Language Arts Standards. Instruction must be consistent and coordinated with the district’s instructional program so that students meet and exceed learning targets and the requirements outlined in the state and federal law.
- Modify grade level curriculum to address the standards along with differentiated instructional to address IEP goals and objectives.
- Experience writing IEP goals and objectives addressing the academic needs of students. Previous experience as a special education teacher working on a multi-disciplinary team.
- Ability to structure a classroom to maximize student learning.
- Must possess effective behavior management skills.
- Ability to coordinate job duties and work collaboratively with classroom assistant to address student needs.
Salary: Based on collective bargaining salary schedule

Salary/Benefits
Salary Range: $48,218-$54,615
