Duties
The applicant would be teaching differentiated instruction to students with IEP's. The school is located at a residential facility, and the class size is dependent on the number of students on campus. There is a maximum of 21 students, split between three teachers. The applicant would be the Case Manager to their homeroom students, and would therefore be responsible for the data tracking, writing, and implementation of the IEP's assigned to them. Each classroom has a full time aide who tracks IEP goals, and assists the teacher as well. There is a Time Out Room equipped with two staff members to assist in removing students, and returning students to baseline when dysregulated.
Qualifications
LBS I Licensure for Special Education with the ISBE Pre-K to age 21

Commensurate with contract benefits, salary schedule and experience.
Additional Notes
Small class sizes, teacher's aide in every classroom, two Crisis Intervention Specialists available to assist with student removal from classrooms, and a fully staffed Sensory Room for students to use time away to maintain regulation.
