JOB GOAL
The Assistant Superintendent of Personnel and Human Resources is responsible for developing the vision, mission, goals and objectives for human resources in collaboration with other district leaders to ensure that SD113A recruits, maintains, and develops a high quality workforce that can manage ongoing change successfully while meeting the diverse needs of students, parents and the community.
PRIMARY FUNCTION
The Assistant Superintendent of Personnel and Human Resources is responsible for leading the personnel department in compliance with all applicable laws; evaluating principals and director of student services performance in consultation with the Superintendent; providing all personnel information and serving as a resource to administrators, principals and teachers; achieving defined objectives by planning, evaluating, developing, implementing and maintaining services in compliance with established guidelines; and serving as the Superintendent in his or her absence as needed and appropriate.
