Duties
Serve as a school counselor for Ottawa Township High School for the 2026-27 school year. This position is open due to retirement. OTHS has approximately 1,200 students. Candidate would assist students in the areas of academic, career and personal/social development. Candidate would collaborate with four other counselors, two social workers, and school phycologist as well as faculty and parents to better understand and meet the needs of their students.
Qualifications
Current IL teaching license with proper endorsement.
Salary/Benefits
Appropriate placement on the salary schedule based on experience and level of education.

Current extracurricular openings for the 2026-27 school year: Head Football Coach, Head Boys’ Track Coach, Head Girls’ Tennis Coach, Head Boys’ Basketball Coach, Head Boys’ Bowling Coach, Assistant Football Coach, Assistant Volleyball Coach, Assistant Wrestling Coach, Assistant Softball Coach (2 Positions), Chess Coach, Scholastic Bowl Director, and Speech Director.
