Position: Science Teacher - Biology, Chemistry, and Physics - High School and Middle School
College Preparatory School of America in Lombard, Illinois is seeking talented educators to teach middle school and high school science classes. Both Part-time and Full-time positions are available. Specifically, we are looking for high school and middle school biology, chemistry, and physics teachers.
CPSA is a private K-12 religious school that has been one of the premier schools in the Chicagoland area since 1991 and is currently ranked by the Washington Post as the #1 most challenging school in Illinois. We are especially seeking educators with a strong passion for teaching students, a love for science, and a creative/innovative approach to transferring knowledge to the next generation. We foster an environment of teamwork, encouragement, and growth as teachers are provided with assistance and support throughout the year. We have a friendly and collaborative environment at CPSA in which our teachers benefit from mentorship and guidance from other teachers as well as the Science Department Head.
Applicants are required to have previous experience as a science teacher. Resources and support will be provided throughout the year. Professional development opportunities including training and guidance regarding teaching AP classes will be provided to new teachers.
