Duties

• Compiles and updates Bus Lists (regular bus routes, special education routes, shuttle bus routes/run)

• Coordinates the maintenance for all school vehicles.
• Coordinates procedures to meet all requirements for bus State inspections.
• Coordinates all field trips and extra-curricular trip activities (vehicles, drivers, etc.). 
• Coordinate bus routes and trips with transportation director. 
• Shares responsibility for maintaining good interpersonal relations between parents, students, drivers and school. 
• Checks and monitors road conditions when inclement weather situations exist. 
• Compiles End of Year Transportation Reports.
• Performs such other tasks and assumes such other responsibilities related to school transportation as administration may request and/or from time to time assign.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. Certificate.
• Bus Driver Permit
• Certification of good health and drug testing signed by a licensed physician yearly. 
• Ability to read basic operating instructions and write reports.
• Demonstrate aptitude for successful completion of tasks assigned. 
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

Based off work experience.
