Duties

• Providing social emotional support to students using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy language
• Supporting students by looking at behavioral data and helping them to gain an understanding of their skills and needs
• Collaborating with classroom staff and other support personnel
• Completing academic, cognitive testing, and functioning behavioral assessments
• Completing or supporting other staff in the completion of behavior intervention plans

Qualifications

• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with endorsement as:
  • School Psychologist OR School Social Worker

Salary/Benefits

BHCUSD #8 Salary Schedule as negotiated with BHEA
