Duties
Essential job functions may include, but are not limited to, the following
- Uses knowledge and understanding of the reciprocal influences of home, school, and community to intervene for student success via such practices as assessment, crisis intervention, home visits, conflict resolution, individual and group counseling, consultation, program development, dropout prevention and coordination of school and community services,
- Advocates for appropriate services for students and their families,
- Consults and collaborates with stakeholders on behalf of students and their families,
- Effectively plans, implements and evaluates programs that promote student and family success and demonstrates accountability by documenting the positive outcomes resulting from the services provided.
Qualifications
llinois Professional Educator License endorsed with SSW • Master’s Degree in School Social Work from a Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) accredited program with a specialization in school social work • Possess a valid driver’s license and maintain automotive insurance coverage as required by IL law.
Salary/Benefits
Based on Placement Scale. Benefits include: 185 day contract, 9% board paid TRS, Health insurance options, 3 personal days and 14 sick days
