Duties

• Provides interventions and additional instruction for qualifying students, playing an active role in Tier 2 and 3 academic interventions
• Track and monitor student academic progress
• Is responsible for diagnosis, remediation, and evaluation of RtI (Response to Intervention) students
• Provide tutoring and remediation to individual students and students in small groups during the school day
• Is responsible for maintaining and establishing communication between the math/reading teachers and parents of the RtI students
• Organize and run RtI meetings, guiding efforts of team members to provide appropriate support and intervention to students.
• Attends 504/IEP meetings as required
