Duties
Instruct fourth grade students in a general education, self-contained classroom in the content areas of ELA, math, science, and social studies. Teaching at appropriate levels of difficulty. Assessing student progress and determining the need for additional reinforcement or adjustments to instructional plans/techniques/goals. Teaching specific learning objectives. Employing various teaching techniques, methods and principles of learning to best the needs of students and district learning outcomes. Using appropriate instructional technology to enhance student learning. Develop lesson plans that meet the state standards and school curriculum. Organizes classroom supplies and materials. Maintains a proper learning environment.
Qualifications
Candidate must hold a valid Professional Educators License with the Illinois State Board of Education.
Salary/Benefits
In accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the Lockport District 91 Board of Education and the Lockport District 91 Teachers' Association.
