Duties
Under the direction of the building principal and the Director of Student Support Services, the special education teacher develops and provides specialized instruction to meet the diverse needs of students with disabilities, evaluates and assesses student progress toward IEP goals and short-term benchmarks, and functions as the case manager for assigned students.

Qualifications
Must possess a valid and current IL Professional Educator License in Special Education. Must also hold a Learning Behavior Specialist I (LBSI) endorsement for the proper grade level. Special Education Teacher
