Duties
Unity Point District #140 is accepting applications for a 5th/6th grade Science teacher for the 2025-26 school year. The successful candidate is a collaborative team player looking to inspire and develop a passion for science through the development and implementation of hands-on learning and engaging lessons. Candidate must possess a Professional Educator License with proper endorsement
All candidates must possess strong communication and organizational skills. Preference will be given to applicants who have knowledge and documented successful experiences related to the implementation of the following: the Illinois Learning Standards, Data Teams and Whole-Child Valuation, Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports, Response to Intervention, and the Danielson Framework for Teaching.
