Duties
Two 10-month positions are available and are expected to begin on or around August 1, 2025. The Assistant Principal/Dean job responsibilities can be found here.
Qualifications
Assistant Principal - Candidates must have a Professional Educator License with an administrative or principal endorsement.
Dean of Students - Candidates must be in the process of obtaining ISBE Administrative/Principal licensure and endorsement must be obtained by August 2026 (within one year of start date).
Salary/Benefits
Salary and benefits for this position are commensurate with experience and are regionally competitive. Please see the District 87 Benefits for more detailed benefits information.
Assistant Principal - The base salary will be $76,392 - $91,323.78.
Dean of Students - The base salary will be $71,392 - $85,079.46.
TRS, employee medical insurance and a life insurance benefit are Board-paid by District 87. Out of the base salary, a sum of $16,392 can be deferred to a 403(b) plan, family medical insurance and/or be taken as the cash equivalent.
Dental, vision, voluntary life, flexible spending and dependent care are available at the employee's expense.
