Duties
The candidate shall perform his/her duties in accordance with the regulations established by the Board of Education as interpreted by the administration. Present daily lessons in a comprehensive manner and use appropriate technology to facilitate learning. The candidate will assess and record student progress in a timely fashion and communicate progress to all stakeholders. The candidate needs to have a passion for educating students. The candidate should also have effective communication skills, both verbal and written. The candidate must utilize teaching strategies that reach a variety of learning styles.
Qualifications
Highly qualified candidate must be certified to teach high school English in the State of Illinois.
